Laurels won by siblings Ansh & Aaniya Mishra

“A child must know that s/he is a miracle, that since the beginning of the world, there hasn’t been, and until the end of world there will not be another child like him/her.” – Pablo Casals

A Taekwondo Tournament was organized by Kharadi Sports Club on Sunday, 7th October, 2018. Our little sibling stars, Ansh Mishra from PYP 4B and Aaniya Mishra from PYP 3C participated in the tournament and won laurels. Nearly 60 students participated in this local event. Ansh is a blue belt holder in Taekwondo, a budding and enthusiastic champion from Victorious Kidss Educares (VKE), won a Bronze medal in an Inter Dojo competition. Ansh made his mark in the weight category of 25 to 30 Kgs, in age group of 7 to 9 years.
Aaniya participated in 7 to 9 years’ age group, in the weight category 18 to 22 kgs. She won silver medal and was awarded as the Best Fighter.
They both displayed great talent, perseverance and skill during the event. We congratulate them and their proud parents on this great accomplishment.
Taekwondo is an empowering sport and a vigorous workout for the kids to improve coordination and balance. It also teaches children to focus and show persistence to achieve. It helps build a character.  Victorious Kidss Educares focusses on guiding the children to discover the secret power from within. Here students are encouraged to become active and compassionate lifelong learners, with an attitude of “I can”.
