Our Rising Champion – Sai Chavare
Our Victorious Kidss Educares Champion, Sai Chavare from PYP 5A recently participated in an Elocution Competition. This competition was organized by Shri Sathya Sai Seve Organization Bal Vikas, Pune on 25 June 2017. Sai performed brilliantly and secured 1st position in the competition by giving a speech on the topic, ‘My Country – Bharat’. Congratulations Sai. You have done well. This is what is meant by being Victorious and living with strength, with purity and with truth, telling the world about the power of Education of International Baccalaureate (IB) ~ Especially coupled with Vedanta.
‘Speech’, is one of the most important mediums of communication. It is said, is also one of the best gifts from God to the human race. Being social creatures, the ability to communicate with the world is something that makes us unique amongst all other creations of God. It enables us to express our emotions and thoughts, share our ideas and develop new relationships. With valuable words presented charmingly, coupled with deeper meanings, make you a winner and fearless. Because you know you can handle the situation through the power of your intelligence, through the faculty called ‘Speech’.
Sai, through her fearless courage, with no stage fright has displayed the gift that she has received from her parents and from her teaching and learning at school. This medium of speech, has beautifully presented our country’s rich and diverse culture. Sai spoke to the audience how my India is the greatest of the greatest and the Punya Bhoomi as explained by Swami Vivekananda (Page 3 & 4 ~ Lectures from Colombo to Almora) on purity, holding on to truth and ancient heritage of peace. Despite being a country with different communities, ethnic races and people speaking different languages, democracy remains firm in India. It is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. The land of great saints like Swami Vivekananda, Paramahansa Yogananda, Jesus Christ, Krishna, Guru Nanak, Mother Teresa and Ramakrishna Paramahansa, India is a perfect example of ‘Unity in Diversity & Divinity’.
